Winter Storm Chaos: Highways Shut Down in Manitoba

During Friday's storm, Portage la Prairie took action, issuing 25 tickets to motorists who drove on closed highways. The minimum fine for such an offense is $298, and it comes with two demerit points on the driver's license.
