Sandstorms and Secrets: Brace yourselves, Raiders! The Rust Belt is facing intense sandstorms, but that's not all. Mysterious flocks of birds are gathering in Buried City, their motives unknown. And if that wasn't enough, rogue Raiders are hunting ARC for sport, taking on squads alone. But here's where it gets controversial: are these Raiders heroes or villains?
New Matchmaking and Rewards:
- Solo vs Squads: Experienced players, rejoice! A new matchmaking option lets level 40+ Solo Raiders tackle squads head-on. Earn a 20% XP bonus, win or lose, and prove your mettle.
- Trophy Display: Engage in a long-term hunt for dangerous ARC groups and reap the rewards. Build a Display Case in 5 steps, showcasing your trophies and earning blueprints, Raider Tokens, and unique prizes like the Howl emote and a guitar.
Bird City: The birds have taken over Buried City, nesting in chimneys and hoarding shiny trinkets. This permanent map condition adds more bird traps, ziplines, and rooftop combat. But what's their true purpose?
Enhancements and Fixes:
- New Items: Discover 2 new Epic Augments and embark on 7 fresh quests.
- Open Parties and Invites: Seamlessly join friends' parties, even mid-round. Squadmates can now invite others, making teamwork easier.
- Achievements and Fixes: Numerous fixes, including Enemy of my Enemy and Hook, Line, and Sinker achievements, ensuring your progress is accurately tracked.
- ARC Improvements: Enhanced ARC traversal, better Leaper walking, scavengeable Shredder labeling, and more. But is it enough to counter the growing threats?
- Audio and Map Adjustments: Voice chat improvements, map collision fixes, and lighting updates for a smoother, more immersive experience.
- UI and Utility: Rebind gamepad buttons, fix zipline anchor points, and streamline augment changes in loadouts.
